Intelligent battery integrated into the down tube
Shimano’s high-performance, lithium-ion batteries have an intelligent battery-management system that provides the maximum possible range. The battery is nicely integrated into the down tube, which improves road holding. Its compact size makes it easy to slide it in and out of the e-bike. You can choose the battery capacity that suits you: 504 Wh or 630 Wh. The battery is reliably secured with a lock on your frame and is easily removed using your bike key. Convenient, as you can charge the battery either on or off the bike.

I have MS and I am also turning 68 this month. This is the first and only bike I have ever owned. I love the freedom it gives me and it is so much fun! The pedal assist is so helpful while still keeping me engaged physically when I am overly challenged. I waited for a pricing discount and really only had one criteria and that was step through. The offer came and I jumped on it. There are a lot of unknowns at least for, that I had to learn because I did not ask. Oh well.
